Club Together on site?

I read a letter in the last edition of the CC magazine from a man who suggested that people could display some sort of sign in their 'van window if they were open to spending some time chatting to other caravanners on site, for instance in times of pouring
rain!  I rather liked this idea and wondered if a 'CT on site' notice would achieve this objective.  I heartily agree with the chap's opinion that rather than sitting alone in his van watching the rain pour down, he could pop in for a limited time to other
like minded people and, of course, return the invitation if appropriate.  Although I spent a neighbourly few minutes talking to people on the Wharfedale site recently, at the service points, I think this would be a good way to extend the hand of friendship.
If your 'CT on site' sign isn't on display, people would know that you're not 'open' to visitors.  And no, this isn't some weirdo suggestion to facilitate inappropriate relationships!  What's everyone else's opinion?  (btw, my OH is horrified at the idea of
inviting a total stranger in for a cup of tea! He says he goes away for some peace and quiet, not to make polite chit-chat!)
