Should we get another Skoda Superb?

Our wonderful Skoda Superb 2005 130bhp is starting to show its age and we are looking for a really good used towcar from about 2008 for our 2004 Sterling Europa 520 at 1130 kgs MRO. What suggestions do you have for reliable used cars /SUVs etc from that
vintage as we have chosen wrongly in the past.   

Are 2.0 litre Superbs O.K?.They all have very high mileage due to the Taxi runs. Ford Mondeos also seem to be good tugs but what engine size would we need?
