Damp Under Floor
I've just had a habitation survey done on my Van and was astounded to be told there was damp reading of 90% in two corners of the floor. I was advised that it was being caused by spray off the tyres and advised to get mud flaps.
I've since taken the Van home and tested it myself and get a reading of < 15% so believe the Dealer's test was carried out on a wet underside after I'd driven it in the rain.
As a result of this, I'm intending to fit mud flaps front and rear but thought I'd give the underside a coat of something to keep the water out.
Has anyone got any recommendation for what I should use? I'm a bit wary of coating it with chemicals that may damage the current protective coat or the floor itself.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
