Advice on 12S Adaptor Pin Positions

Could anyone offer advice please. Our adapter converting the 13 pin to a 12N & 12S appeared to be playing up so I purchased a Milenco twin lead adaptor but when I tried to plug in the grey 12S the pins did not match up with the lead from our caravan (2008
Coachman VIP). Should the pins (male/female) be the same on all grey 12S connectors or is the Milenco one manufactured wrong?
