Cleaning Awnings

We have recently bought a Kampa Rally awning and after several uses have found streaks and marks on it. Other awnings we have had have been darker colours sot he markings would have not been noticed. This awning is mostly white/cream with charcoal edging.

Is there a way of removing these markings without destroying the waterproofing on the awning? I was thinking of trying warm soapy water?

Any help would be much appreciated!
