Heating blown air system

Hi,

Just been away for our first week in our new van. We are completely new to the whole thing, the heating system warmed the van but they seemed to be cold spots especially the driving cab and door well area's.  On checking the vents I could not feel any air
flow, is this normal? as there was not a great deal of air flow from the other vents though they were warm.
