Warranties (again)!

Having recently purchased a second hand caravan with a 2 year warranty, I was suprised to find that the warranty had been itemised as a separate charge of some £400+. Having read the terms of the warranty, I think the only things covered, are the scews that
hold the towel ring the wash room. As soon as I tried to make a claim I was told that its not covered by the warranty. What I would like to know is, has the dealer got a responsability under the law to put things right or can they just wash there hands of
it?
