Caravan cover damage

I use a bespoke cover on my caravan over the winter. Today I had a walk around it checking that everything was OK. My tow car is parked quite close to the offside rear corner and I was horrified to discover that a cat has been using the corner of the caravan
as a scratching post and the cover is now very nearly shredded.

I have to say that i'm not a cat lover or hater (until today) when I am now very much in the latter camp.

I know cats can be very clever, sneaky, and now I add very spiteful. The local cats have discovered that we no longer have a dog. I've also discovered that it's virtually impossible to keep them out of your garden.

Rant over. Anyone else experienced this problem?John E
