Back to bike racks again.......sorry

for a little topic this is such a huge discision  and I am no further forward than I was last year. For me the roof option is out of the question, so it seems I have three others.   The fianmma, a frame mounted 'caravan hobby' is one option,  the 'avenir
' tow plate mount is another, or do I simply get a roof box for the awning and stick the bikes in the car.  inside the van is a non starter for me as well!!   Basically I would like to know if anyone has used either of the bike racks mentioned. And could give
me feed back.  The car is a ford mondeo and the caravan a coachman pastiche.  Please,  please help!
