Bike racks and caravans please help

I have a ford mondeo salon with a back spoiler and a caravan!  I really would like a bike rack.  I have investigated ford bike racks specifically for mondeo Gia and from the main dealer they are £250 but on line £69. Which seems good.  However when the bikes
are on the rack, they appear (on the video) to stick out quite considerably , especially if you have 3.  My concern is that they wil hamper the movement of the caravan when turning corners.   As a single mum travelling with child  it is already traumatic enough
without wondering about the bikes and I don't want to buy it if it won't work.   Please, please help.   Thank you
