Car battery

Just had to fit a new battery in wifes Renault diesel Modus. Disappointing really as it was the original and only lasted 11 years..
Car was bought new in December 2004 by us.

With hindsight it is one of those things that if there are no signs of deterioration in performance you don't give it any thought. It just let us down on Thursday. These things always happen in the crummy weather. Had to change it on the drive in the rain.
Saved by the tow car so I wasn't in the dog house.
