Large Porch Awning

Hi guys,
we are looking for a large porch awning, we have been looking at the Kampa Rally awnings. What I am not sure about is how good a seal against the van you will get. We have the Sunncamp Ultima 390 that never seems to fit correctly, always has gaps against
the van and when pegging down I always feel like there are gaps between the awning and the ground.
I don't need a full awning but I feel that the porch awnings don't sit as good as the full awnings unless I am doing something wrong.
