Are all CL sites anti children?

Wondering if all  CL sites are anti children because we stayed for two weeks at the alders caravan site CL,  yorkshire.  They seemed fine,  we kept all the rules,  accompanied the children everywhere,  didn't allow them to play ball games.  Only let them
play away from the vans,  not near them,  under supervision.  We had booked  for three weeks in November after week one and they said yes and booked it.  When we  left they said see you in November. Never any mention of noise or trouble or anything at all.

We went in today to book a couple of weeks in September and they asked how long.  When we said two weeks they said no.  They said they had had complaints about the kids.

When I asked what complaints they said they couldn't say as it wasn't written down.  When I I said this is ridiculous as I know the kids were not loud suddenly it was changed and  I was told apparently they were a nuisance down down at the shop.  (they had
been TWICE for ice lollies.

I asked is this all and she said oh one of them played with the gate, twice ( both times I took took the  child away told him off and made him stay in the van for the rest of other day)

This was all  very strange and I'm wondering if it is usual for a CL site to not like children around because they were extremely quiet and not near other people's vans or things,  so the whole thing has me worried about future bookings with other sites.

I  totally understand people's need need for peace,  hence me expecting good behaviour and reasonable quiet from my kids but short of not having them seen at all or heard in any normal way I'm at a loss as to  what I could have done to prevent this.
