After caravaning for many years we decided to get a caravan with a fixed bed as getting old I now have back problems. We traded in our Swift Charisma  and purchased a second hand (2010) Bailey GT 60 520/4 from a local dealer. Having suffered many problems
with the caravan the final straw came when we discovered damp in the caravan 6 months after purchase and needed the awning rail rebedded.

As Bailey have a 7 year water ingress warranty, plus we had taken out a 3 year insurance policy there was not a problem in having the repair done under the insurance policy however as the previous owner had not got the service history book stamped up when
it was serviced Bailey warranty is invalid. We are unable to trace previous owners to see where the van was serviced in an attempt to rectify the Bailey warranty and would advise all caravanners to ensure they get the Service History book stamped up to ensure
their water ingress warranty is maintained.
