Change to MOT regulations

Has anyone any views on the new MOT regs that are due to come in April this year, I believe they are to include towbar security & corrosion towing electrics including warning lights/audible warnings for the towbar plus all the warning lights for ABS SRS
TRACTS etc & if any of these warning lights stay on or don't work at all then it is an automatic failure.

Like I say this what I am led to believe does anyone know any different
