Lighting on sites at night time

Whats your views on the lights on the EHU posts at night time do you find them to be a pain illuminating the inside of your caravan / motor-home. Would it not be better to have them turn off after midnight & maybe have better / more low level lights (as
in dimmer) around the roadways on sites.
