This is the offical club rule on ground sheets

Quote :-

To minimise damage to grass, site users are asked to lift all groundsheets and/or side flaps of awnings, tents or annexes at frequent intervals or as required by the Warden.  -:end quote

Kind of makes breathable groundsheets a waste of time & money. How many other members feel the sam as me & how many of you actually comply with this rule.  We only put our breathable groundsheet down in half the awning from the door to the awning opening
so it is easier to lift up every other day when on a grass pitch but I do sometimes wonder why I bothered buying this expensive bit of kit that I can't use properly, when on hardstanding we put it down to cover the whole are of the awning so it is more gentle
on your feet plus the paws of our dogs
