CL West of London

Hi, we are spending 2 weeks down in Cornwall end of Aug/beginning of Sept...and wondered about having a couple of days in London before travelling back to North West England. We are struggling to find any CL sites west of the city to stay at, found plenty
east, but they would make the journey home too long. Can anyone help?
