Chosing a new tow car

We are thinking of changing our Citroen C5 estate car and wondered if anyone had any suggestions for a replacement., possibly 2 litre diesel estate type car. Does anyone tow with a Honda CR-V or VW Passat? Caravan is a 2 berth Lunar. Main Driver of the
car is 6' 10" tall so car needs good headroom,
