Are birds pecking at your caravan cover?

We have recieved a couple of calls where the little darlings are pecking at the cover, to use the matrial in their nests. Has this happened to you? What did you do to stop them? Does the colour affect the peckability (!?)

The only advice I can think of is to buy a roof cover made of stronger more durable material to protect the caravan cover. This should'nt interfer with the 'breathable' bit as the rest of the 'van can breathe. Or maybe paint a big cat on the cover...
