Things falling out of cupboards

Going  thro  the  "Leisure Lines"  catalogue  I  got  from  C.A.K. s  stand  at  N.E.C.  this  year  looking  for  the  expanding,  probably  spring  loaded  bars  they  put  across  the  front  of  cupboards  to  stop  your  goodies  escaping.  They  call  them  *Cupboard  Bar  Keepers*  and  come  in  pairs.

I  am  wondering  if  anybody  uses  or  has  used  these  and  do  they  do  the  job.  Or  are  they  just  another  "good  idea"   thing  to  put in  the  shed ??
