Travelled down on Wednesday from the Fylde coast and enjoyed a great day at the NEC, plenty of space to visit the exibits and the club's site for a coffee. The prize for me was the excellent man made caravan built by lego bricks.

Well we went to look at inflatable awnings...came away with a new van! We were persuaded by the Dealer Special Swift Freestyle S4....

We did also come away with an inflatable awning though :-) Oh and a towing cover + Winter cover.

I have been banned from going again next year Don't cry

Expensive year for us too tazandsnowy.  Similar scenario here: new van, new awning and motor mover.

We never made it yesterday as we couldn't get a sitter for the dog.

Had a drive out to Glossop Caravans today instead and saw a lovely Sterling Eccles that could be converted for wheelchair use. Just looked at it again on the website where it is nearly £2000 cheaper if you buy online. That might even pay for a wider door.

Hope  everybody  is  now  perusing  the  Show  Catalogue / Guide  in  readiness  for  October  to  get  all  those  nice  things  that  they  didn't  get  this  time  around.

You  know  the  things  I  mean  ==>  New  van,  new  motorhome, motor  mover,    etcetera  etcetera  and  not  forgetting  the  address  of  a  really  good  Marriage  Guidance  Counsellor  and / or  Divorce  Lawyer Laughing

We went yesterday and bought very little. We usually go to both the February and October shows but they're getting very samey.  Nothing new with the same old stands in the same places. We were lucky and didn't have to pay as we won two guest passes from
my local dealer but we might give October a miss this year.
