We have had our Lunar caravan for 3 years now and have been taking stock of faults that have occurred in the past 2 years once the main warranty ended. It strikes us that these faults, are not Lunar related,
but supplier related, and are surprised at the level of faulty items during the period, compared to previous caravans with which we have had little trouble. Items which have failed us (out of warranty) which have had to be replaced are: Thetford fridge thermistor.
Alko jockey wheel. Heki roof light. Door flyscreen ( unsure of the suppliers name, maybe Seitz )
and the most recent a leaking Truma filter housing. It just seems odd that in the last 2 years nearly £400 has been spent on replacing parts which have failed, goodness knows how much more it would have been had I had these parts dealer
fitted. We are careful but frequent users, and we are left wondering if we have been unlucky or if this is the current norm with parts been made as cheaply as possible and not built to last if they are actually used.
