Should pitch prices vary according to outfit size?

Interested to hear what other people's views are on this issue. Recently we were at a Caravan Club site where I observed a large twin-axle caravan in front of us with a huge awning....only 2 adults and a dog occupied this outfit. To the side of us there
was a tiny Eriba caravan, occupied by 2 adults without an awning or dog. It occurred to me that these 2 outfits would be paying the same price. I realise that they're using the same facilities etc but if everyone had huge outfits, there would be less space
on site. Should larger outfits have to be pay more? What do people think?
