Beware Bailey Customer Service
I have a Bailey Unicorn Vigo; at its first service in early February I was told that there were leaks, sorry "water ingress" on both sides and mould on the bathroom floor. The dealers told me that they could replace a cracked wheel cover on one side but the van would have to go back to Baileys and the earliest date for collection would be the end of April...about 12 weeks! Bailey would then need to keep the van for 6 to 8 weeks, that takes us to the end of June and we had site bookings for the end of May and most of June.
I thought that I would ring Bailey Customer Service to find out why I should have to wait so long for them to correct their manufacturing fault. I was told that Customer Services do not accept phone calls and I would have to email. I did email and was told that the collection dates and times were correct. I emailed back to say that I was unhappy withn my treatment ...they haven't bothered to answer that email.
Undaunted I went to the caravan show and tried to talk to some men in suits on the Bailey stand rather than the sales people. I was told that they were from Bailey but they wouldn't talk to me and I had to talk to the customer sevice person ...."oh sorry she is on her break, can you come back later?"
I gave up, I wish I still had my Swift
