I have a small Romahome campervan and am looking to save weight on board by using one Safefill gas bottle (www.safefill.co.uk) also this should work out at a fraction of the cost of Camping Gaz refills.  Just wondering if any members have used one of these and whether they encountered any problems with fitting or filling.  Many thanks.

Hi Homer. There are plenty of threads and info regarding the Safefill cylinders. For me, a non EHU, it's a no brainier. Brilliant bits of kit. Safefill do 3 sizes. Personally, I have never had a problem filling them but some have. If you are in any doubt. Either go to the Safefill website and download their map showing filling points or if you are on Android, there is an app called FillLPG which I campaigned to get them to show Safefill friendly sites which they have now done. Or simply ring NEIL or John at Safefill. They will always give their time to you and help in any way they can. I will be down on the IOW in August and I will sort out filling points before I arrive. Search the threads, particularly in the section Tips on making caravanning cheaper. You should find plenty of info. I would never go back to paying ridiculous prices for a Calor cylinder! I have saved a small fortune on gas during the time I have had one ( or 3 - One of each size) don't ask!!
