No need for Satellite dish?

We don't use the TV when away but I have been reading about Slingbox, a device you connect to your satellite receiver at home then you can access all your normal satellite TV program's on tablet or WiFi enabled TV from anywhere in the world. Of course you
would need a reasonable WiFi connection but it seems better than lugging a large dish to Spain where it is unlikely to work anyway due to the new satellites.
