The last edition of the club managzine included an article reminding us all that the Club sites will not accept supermarket deliveries to a pitch, while I have never thought of using this handy service it occured
to me that this is exactly the kind of old fashioned thinking that led to the Caravan Club dithering about WIFI then installing a national set up that is too expensive for anyone to use, poeple these days shop on line and if they want to have their food or
whatever delivered to their pitch why shouldnt they? the reasons given as objections in the article were quite feeble the wardens dont have time to allow them access!! I sometimes think the club is too oragnised around what suits the wardens maybe they should
remeber the next generation of Caravaners will expect these kinds of services and move with the times, the same kinds arguments were made over the years against Satallite TV WIfi Sat Navs and all the other things that have made our lives and our caravan experience
better.
