Mayday Help needed

Hi

Im looking to take out the mayday cover but i am on the border line between roadside assistance and roadside and recovery simply because most sites i use are very local "within 10 miles" although the question
i have is this...

Dual Recovery If your vehicle can't be fixed we'll take you to your destination and back  (holidays only).

What happens when we get to the site?..i.e does the recovery then take your car to a repairer after dropping off the van? or is the car left with you until the week after when they come to pick you up? in which
case the car is then left on your road?
