Motor home checks before buying

Having been on the receiving end of an AA pre-purchase check on a car I know that for about £200 you can get an excellent, thorough, check which will pick up many faults (several that you didn't know that you had!). I also know that you can do an ownership check.

Does anybody have experience of the same inspections on a Motorhome and would they cover both vehicle and habitation?

I am thinking of a private purchase where you don't have any kind of warranty.
