New battery

Just had to purchase a new leisure battery. A leaflet came with the new Lucas battery suggesting that aged/well used battery chsrgers are the biggest cause of battery fsilings. Apparently the chargers loose perfomance and charging, hence batteries fail through
the lack of good chargeing.

Any views as to this suggestion
