Club Site Access Times
Looking at English Club sites one wonders why some sites have a disparity from the 12 noon access rule. Of course in recent months the Clubs "We can say Yes" approach may have soferned the 12 noon rule but why are some sites still showing 1 pm for access
?
One accepts the Affiliated Sites and those sites which clearly define a logical reason for the later arrival. Having said that most sites with a reason for a delayed arrival, sight access issues. Thats fine but given the 12 noon exit rule one wonders why
it needs a hours delay before accepting arrivals, one could argue this is just poor site management in not ensuring clearance of outgoing units by 12 noon. However a number of sites niether identify a logical reason for the delay nor in many cases does there
seem to be a identifiable reason, these include Looe,Cheery Hinton,Daleacres,Exmoor House,MoorhamptonStanmore Hall,Bolton Abbey,Knaresborough, River Breamish. Perhaps its a old fashioned club view of "we know best" but perhaps members would like to know why
they are disadvantaged on these few sites where no explaination is forthcoming as to delayed access. After all its around £1.00 per hour to stay on a club site so there is a view that this late access costs members a £1, plus the inconveinance if leaving a
local site by 12 noon then not being able to access the next site before a delayed 1pm !!
One presumes there is a logical reason although the club always seem relucant to come out front with the reasons, so perhaps members know why these sites which fail to offer any reason for late access manage to "get away with it".
