Just been to this fantastic, well managed, quality site. Trouble is the Wardens are 30 years our of date as far as the Caravan Club methods are concerned. Just like some of us older members will recall, the Wardens here actually walk the site, stop and talk,
even have time for members staying. Of course on a 115 pitch site, far exceeding many peer sites in size, they even collect the rubbish using a trolley, hence no noise and fuel savings as well. Of course many simular or smaller sites have to roar around like
Lewis Hamiltons, head and ear gear on, ignoring the 5mph limits, so no chance of any dialogue, why one wonders is this so, when Beechwood Grange can do it so much better with just 4 Wardens (2 pairs).

Of course here at Beechwood they seem relaxed about most things (unlike many modern Wardens), arrival & leaving times seem relaxed and by return members dont seem to abuse the reasonable variances of access and leaving times.

It does seem that there are better ways than we have all experianced via "Jobs Worth", Wardens who seem to relish impossing their assumed power over members who simply want to spend considrable amounts of money with the club. Cleary Beechwood have got the
"we can say yes message" , but then they probably experianced it 30 years ago as ordinary members.

Lets hope other sites (not all, but if the cap fits) take up the attitude and challenge to engage with their customers, yes that members.
