Most if not all club sites have black (waste) and clear (recycle) bags. Warden says it all goes into a single skip which allegedly then gets sorted at a waste station for recycling, seems a bit of a long storey given all the horrible waste which goes into
the black bags. Also why two processes, hardly efficent.

So do the club really recycle or is it as the warden said, all done "because members like to see waste recycled".

Also apparently the skips consolidate by 25% if allowed to settle but of course this is not part of the waste process so the clubs waste charges appear to be very high given the lack of real recycling and/or waste compaction. Apparently £100 per skip and
on some sites one every two days which seemingly could be hugely reduced by better management.

What is the clubs real waste policy and reality ?
