Motor Mover failure beware

I was testing my mover at home as we had been away for six weeks and I thought the speed control wasn't working correctly. Got to the middle of the drive, totally blocking access to our garages, and it failed completely. Turned out that the remote control
battery was flat. The Powrtouch takes a 9v battery - imagine it failing in an awkward position on a site and no spare battery. Now added to my list of spares!

Anyway, I didn't happen to have a spare but the smoke detector takes the same size battery.
