I was watching the Caravan Finder TV channel programme about servicing a van. It showed why servicing takes 2-3 hours and is expensive compared with a car. They check that all the appliances are working, grease the jockey wheel etc. Most of this can easily
be done by anybody who is reasonably practical i.e. any caravanner. Is there a case for a two tier system; essential service -brakes, gas system etc. and routine checks jockey wheel, water system, steadies etc.?
