Advise needed for first caravan
Hi all, we are looking at buying our first caravan and have a budget of £7000. We are looking for a lightweight caravan due to having a diesel Ford Focus which limits us to an all up weight of about 1150 to be within 85%.
I have narrowed search down to a Bailey 460/2 or 460/4 of about 2006/7 vintage but have just been put off by reading reports of cracking front/roof panels and water leaks. Living in Argyll we get a lot of rain! There will normally be just 2 of us but want
to be able to take children occasionaly - sleeping in awning??
Can anybody advise of good alternatives or should I stick with my original idea? What should I look out for and am I best buying from a reputable dealer rather than risk saving money and buying privately?
