The Future of Caravanning, - Emissions?

The very latest report on the effect of pollutants is more than a little worrying!  Even if you are a sceptic like I am, you must surely sense a danger to our choice of leasure activity!

I am talking about tow cars.  The cars of today are nearly all in the roller skate class.  Driven by the taxation regime thats sets the cost of car Tax dependant on engine size and emissions  weedy 3 cylinder cars are the norm.  The proper beefy 4x4 under threat.

My own car now costs £490 a year to tax and with this news I suspect will go far higher, forcing me to give up.

So what does the future hold for our hobby?  I cannot see my heavy Coachman being adequately controled by a 1litre 3 cylinder roller skate.
