has anyone else had a problem with the new Milenco Lightweight Leveller?

I had the earlier one for many years and apart from the sheer weight of it always found it very handy.  However last September I bought a new Coachman 565/4 and at the same time upgraded (Or so I thought 0 to the new Milenco aluminium leveller which as its name suggests is far lighter,  I was delighted to see that the latest model of the new leveller came with a handy blue stowage bag.

I used the new levellar once in  once in May this year but due to using quality all weather pitches did not need it again until using a CL in early september.

Sadly due to the horrible summer the ground was pretty soft and over 3 days the leveller sank a little into the ground and resisted all of my efforts to remove it when the time to leave came around.  I lowered it and removed the risor and screw, so that it was only the wheel retainers that held the wheel in position and pulled the caravan over it and freed it that way.  An exercise that seemed pretty easy and did not stress the Caravan or the leveller..  However on digging it out I discovered that due to the weaker aluminium construction, the lifting cradle was no longer shaped like a flat bottomed U,   but the the two horizontal arms were now pointing towards each other and had they been longer would have crossed.  A bit like those Breast cancer badges you see.

Milenco have completely ignored all of my letters and phone calls which has surprised me!  I had not demanded compensation or replacement but was wondering if it had happened before.
