Water inlet illumination

Have been caught a couple of times with needing to get a refill of my aquaroll after dark.

Would like to fit an awning type illumination source over the inlet point but a bit loath to introduce extra holes in body of caravan. Has anyone tried fitting some of these new battery operated LED's some look quite neat, but not sure about outside fixing.
