Calor Light Cylinders. Loss of gas
My family have suffered two instances of total loss of contents of the new calor Light cylinders in recent weeks. The instances occurred to different vans and possibly different causes but with the same result any one else.
My brother in law fitted a new full cylinder to his van but due to illness bdid not use it at all. when he came to use it about a month later the cylinder was empty! Dealer has checked system for leaks none found!
I fitted a new cylindedr end of April and used the van for 4 nights but not the oven. Only hob gas used.
I neglected to screw down main gas tap on cylinder whilst not in use for a month & again lost the lot. No smell and no sighn of leakage other than very light cylinder! Been caravanning for over 25 years but never experienced this sort of loss. Any others?
