Those going to Europe are probably already familiar with Camping Cheques (www.campingcheque.co.uk) and ACSI Card (www.campingcard.co.uk).  Both these schemes offer discounted
pitch fees on a variety of campsites throughout Europe, but many people don't realise they are also accepted in Great Britain.

With Camping Cheques you pay £13..95 for a pitch, two adults, car and caravan, awning, and EHU.  Dates when Camping Cheques are accepted are set by each site, and vary from site to site but are generally not available in peak season (except on a few European
sites).

With an ACSI card sites come into one of the following bands: 10, 12, 14, or 16 euros - and this pays for the same package as above.

Some sites do 7 nights for 6, or 14 nights for 11, making them an even better deal.

There are some nice sites in the scheme, and they offer a really useful discount for those who can take holidays outside peak season.
