My 35 Year old daughter and her family to start ?

After years of White water rafting etc my 35 year old daughter and her family are keen to start caravanning.  I simply cannot lend them my 3 month old 4 berth.  bearing in mind they wil be be starting almost from scratch what year & type of van? 
I suspect one with living area at both ends of main cabin Kitchen and bathroom in middle?
