Motorhome by the sea

Although a caravanner I have always shown an interest in Motorhomes and as a result tend to spot them parked up in the streets and hidden on driveways. The one thing I have noticed is the quantity around seaside homes, those beutiful locations that most
campers travel to see, so why do those that live their like to get away. I have a theory that the older generation move to the coast and spend their hard earned on shinny new motorhomes, and when they are replaced the locals buy them.
