Used Caravan Inspection

Hi, We're looking at purchasing a used UK caravan to import to Australia. If we buy privately, what are our options in having the caravan inspected/serviced by someone mobile?

Any help greatly appreciated!

    I believe the caravan club and the camping and caravan club offer this service for a fee. No idea on the cost or criteria. Maybe an email to either/both clubs to start with. I expect there ate other who would do it but you'd need location first. Don't know
    about insurance or guarantee of work. Long way to send it back for warranty work

    There is the MCEA which is a network of mobile caravan engineers....their main work is to service 'vans and Motorhomes but many will do a pre sale inspection.

    They are a highly recommended organisation.

    Wouldn't a van built to travel on Aussie roads be a better option? The vans that Ihave seen out there have much heavier suspension. Looking at a few recent posts on here the Alko axle is already questionable!!

    I was thinking more along the lines of transport costs and if there was any import duties to be paid on landing....
