Motorhome Buying Advice

Looking for some tips and advice here.

I'm going along to a dealer on Sunday with my father to be his second pair of eyes when he looks at a motorhome he is considering buying.

We both have caravan experience, but no motorhome experience. I have very basic mechanical knowledge, my father has very little.

He is looking at a 2001 Swift Sundance on the Fiat Ducato 2.8D base.

Any tips and advice for things we should be looking for specifically? I'm aware of the usual look for signs of damp, damage etc. but wondering if there is anything particular to motorhomes we should be aware of.

Also, any comments on the Ducato as a base vehicle?
