Standard or 'tailor made' mattress protectors??

I am curious to learn what type of mattress protectors others use in their caravan.  Especially where the bed has to be made at the front of the van each evening.

In addition to the standard covers (which never really seem to fit correctly), there are 'tailor made' options.

Can anyone share their experiences of using either?
