Skoda 1.6 diesel estate car for towing?

Hi, I currently have a VW Passat 2ltr TDi  , 07 vintage. I am considering changing to a Skoda Superb Estate car. Has any member got experience of towing a caravan with the 1.6 Diesel Superb. I have a Lunar Quasar 524 134O kg max towing weight. or should
I stick with the 2ltr Diesel Engine that I am used to towing with?
