Closure of individual facilities at weekend
I notice more and more that Wardens are locking a number of showers and toilets during the week. I have just returned from a site which had a 5 shower cubicles and 5 privicy cubicles. 2 showers were closed and 3 privicy cubicles. The solo toilet block also closed at 10.30am for cleaning. Therefore, most people, bearing in mind they are on holiday don't head across too early. Therefore the peak period between 9 and 10 involved waiting in line to have a shower, then join another line to have a shave. I can see no real benefit in doing this other than it reduces the amount of facilities which need cleaned. However the time it saves must be negligable to the inconvenience it causes to memers. It is becoming more and more common on all sites.
Can someone from the club please give an official response as to why this is being done please. Is it the individual wardens or a policy from the Club Management?
