Overheating clutch on Fiat Ducato

Hi - does anyone know if there have been any posts about problems with the clutch fitted to Fiat Ducato based motorhomes? Approx 2 years ago, at about 15,000 miles I had to have the clutch replaced on my 58 plate Trigano Tribute motorhome because the clutch
packed up. The total mileage on my motorhome is now about 25,000 miles. In the last couple of weeks I was touring Guernsey in my motorhome and smelt a "burning" smell coming from the clutch. I wonder if this was caused by the fact that the speed limit on the
island is low and much gearchanging required. On the journey back from Poole to Ivybridge in Devon there was no "burning" smell. Help/advice appreciated as I don't fancy spending another £1,000+ on having another new clutch fitted.
